Event Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Reservation
・Initial Contact: Please leave a message on our official website. A dedicated staff member will contact you shortly. For urgent matters or inquiries, please call us directly.
・Confirmation: Once you have confirmed the itinerary and signed the quotation, your reservation will be secured. Full payment is required by the specified date to proceed with the activity.
・Itinerary Changes: Up to 3 changes can be made to the date, time, vessel, or other booked items on the quotation. Additional changes will incur a fee of NT$500 per change.
Cancellation
・After Confirmation: Cancellations or modifications to any booked items after the quotation is signed will be subject to cancellation or modification fees charged by the service provider.
・Force Majeure: Except in cases where the Central Weather Bureau issues a warning that makes sailing unsafe, due to the involvement of various service providers, the following cancellation fees will apply:
(i) Cancellations made within 7 days prior to the activity will incur a 30% cancellation fee.
(ii) Cancellations made within 1 day prior to the activity will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
(iii) Cancellations made on the day of the activity or no-shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
The activity fee used as the basis for calculating the damages includes the boat rental fee and other booking fees. (Accommodation, transportation, activity, and insurance booking fees, and all other booking fees will be charged in full.)

Late Arrival
Time Calculation
・If the itinerary is delayed due to the guest, the time will be calculated as usual. The following charges will apply: An additional half-hour fee will be charged for a delay of 15-45 minutes, an additional one-hour fee will be charged for a delay of 45-75 minutes, and so on.
Vessel and Activity Booking Policy
Vessels
・Crew: All booked vessels include a captain and crew members. A yacht steward will be included based on the vessel's configuration.
・Advance Booking: Reservations can be made two months prior to the activity. Reservations made within four days of the activity will be considered as last-minute bookings and are subject to a last-minute booking fee of NT$5,000 per vessel. The company reserves the right to evaluate and accept or decline such bookings.
Activities
・Advance Booking: Reservations can be made two months prior to the activity. Reservations made within one week of the activity will be considered as urgent bookings and are subject to an urgent booking fee of NT$5,000 per item. The company reserves the right to evaluate and accept or decline such bookings.
Reminder before departure
Recommended Attire
・Clothing: We recommend wearing a hat, sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, and comfortable attire.
・Footwear: Please avoid wearing high heels or tight skirts as they may restrict movement.
Medication
・Motion sickness medication is not provided by our company. If you need to take motion sickness medication, it is recommended to do so 30 minutes before boarding.
・First-Aid Kit: A first-aid kit is available on board.
Safety Guidelines and Terms
Passenger Capacity
・The number of passengers must not exceed the vessel's safe carrying capacity. The company reserves the right to refuse to set sail if this limit is exceeded. Due to insurance requirements and departure procedures, please confirm the passenger list three days prior to the activity (excluding holidays). No additional passengers who have not been confirmed may board on the day of the activity.
Prohibited Items
・Any activity that violates the laws of the Republic of China is strictly prohibited. This includes carrying firearms, drugs, or other illegal substances. Upon discovery, the police will be immediately notified, the activity will be canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Mandatory Insurance
・All yacht rentals include NT$2 million in personal accident insurance coverage provided by the company.
・Additional travel insurance options of NT$10 million, NT$7 million, and NT$5 million are available for purchase. Please provide the names of the insured guests at least three business days prior to the activity. The company acts as an agent for the purchase of these insurance policies and will not issue separate receipts. Proof of insurance can be obtained from our service staff. Once purchased, the insurance coverage cannot be changed or canceled, but additional coverage can be added.
Damage and Loss
・Guests will be held responsible for any damage or loss to the company's rental equipment caused by intentional or negligent acts. Guests will be required to pay the full cost of repairs or replacement.
・Activities such as smashing cakes, applying cream, or spilling drinks are strictly prohibited on board. Guests who cause significant soiling of the vessel due to their own actions will be charged an additional cleaning fee ranging from NT$3,000 to NT$20,000, depending on the severity of the damage.
Sailing Instructions
・Please remove your shoes and socks upon boarding and place them on the deck.
・In the event of force majeure or circumstances beyond the control of Asia Ocean that prevent the fulfillment of the planned itinerary, transportation, accommodations, or sightseeing activities, the company may make adjustments to the itinerary, meals, tours, and transportation arrangements to ensure the safety and interests of guests. Any additional costs incurred as a result of such adjustments shall be borne by the guests.
・"Circumstances beyond the control of Asia Ocean" include, but are not limited to, weather conditions that meet the following criteria: a land or sea typhoon warning, or a wind speed of 6 Beaufort or wave height of 2 meters (or 5 Beaufort or 1 meter for catamarans) according to the Central Weather Bureau's maritime forecast for coastal areas. The captain shall have the final authority to decide whether or not to set sail based on a comprehensive assessment of the actual conditions.
・During the voyage, the captain is responsible for the safety of all passengers on board and their decisions must be followed. Guests may not arbitrarily instruct the captain to change the course or sailing plan.
・For safety reasons, guests are prohibited from entering the wheelhouse and touching the instruments.
・In case of an emergency, guests should follow the instructions and put on life jackets, and await assistance from the captain.
・To prevent accidents and ensure safety, smoking (including e-cigarettes), lighting fires, and carrying fireworks, sparklers, or pets on board are strictly prohibited.
・To ensure the safety of all passengers, alcohol consumption should be moderate during the voyage.
Diet
It is recommended to avoid consuming foods and beverages containing oil, onion, dairy products, and beans before boarding the vessel. These foods are more likely to contribute to seasickness.
